General Description of Diez de Octubre Municipality

The municipality of Diez de Octubre in the province of Havana is the most populous compared to the other 15 municipalities of the capital. It has nothing exceptional about it; it is a relatively peripheral place. However, its main attraction is that it is a quite heterogeneous area, which is not lacking in cathedrals, monuments, and sports centers. Among its neighborhoods, it also includes Santo Suarez, the most elegant neighborhood in the municipality, formerly the place of the wealthy in Cuba during Batista's time. The neighborhood of La Víbora is also noteworthy, with beautiful and spacious houses. If we add to this that one can reach Vedado from there in ten minutes and the prices of vacation rentals are quite interesting, then the area definitely deserves to be taken into consideration. Several foreigners living in Cuba have bought their homes precisely in this place.
